STUDENTS: This course is designed to help adults learn to assist children (ages 2-4K) in the beginning foundation of swimming skills in a hands-on environment. Basic water adjustment, safety and swimming fundamentals will be covered.
Please Note: Children who are currently in their 5-year-old-Kindergarten year in school should NOT be registered for this class – the Tomahawk Swimming Pool offers summer swimming lessons for these children – information for these classes will be made available to all St. Mary’s School and Tomahawk School District students in Monday folders on April 9th with registration beginning on Saturday, April 21, 2018.
ADULTS: Any adult over the age of 18 is eligible to bring a child to this class! We have in the past had parents of course, but also grandparents, aunts and uncles, and adult babysitters. The only “rule” is that ONE adult can take only ONE child into the water for class – if you have more than one child that you wish to register, there must be an additional adult for the second child in the same class, or you may register for 2 back-to-back classes as long as child care or pick-up is arranged for the other child who is not in the water.
COURSE FEE: $30.00 per adult/child combination.
TO REGISTER: Please fill out the attached form (look to the right side of page for form) and mail it with the $30.00 class fee, (checks payable to “Tomahawk School District”) to the pool at the following address:
Tomahawk Swimming Pool, Attn. Marion Kohl, Director
1048 E. Kings Road, Tomahawk, WI 54487
- All registrations are first-come, first-served, in the order that they are received via the mail at the pool office. Please be sure to indicate first choice/second choice of class time on your registration form.
- A registration receipt will be mailed/e-mailed to you as confirmation of your spot in the class along with additional class information and reminders.
- Registrations received that exceed the maximum registration limit of 12 per class will be returned to you. Each class section must have at least 8 participants to run.
