Mental Health First Aid Class - Wednesday, May 8th & Friday, May 10th |
Register for the Blended Adult Mental Health First Aid Class by Monday, April 29th! Limited to 30 adults.
Wednesday, May 8th, and Friday, May 10th, 2024 from 1:30 – 4:30 pm at the Tomahawk Public Library.
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
First Aiders will complete a 2-hour, self-paced online class, and then participate in two half-day trainings. Participants
must attend both days to be certified.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Join this FREE Event on Thursday, May 30th from 3 pm - 5 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church Corpus Christi Center (CCC), 320 E Washington Ave in Tomahawk. This event is for pregnant and parenting families with children 0 to 18 months. Bring a friend or family! Kids welcome. No registration is necessary. Each family will receive a care package (including diapers, wipes, and more). Available while supplies last. Connect with community resources, Learn about child safety and milestones, and more!
