The Great Northern Conference wrestling coaches have announced their all conference academic teams.

Making first team all conference academic was Kaleb Kaminski, Dane Borchardt, Slade Erdman, & Jake Borchardt.

Second team all conference academic was Nate Flohr, Chase Erdman, Blake Mueller, Jacob Schaper, Matt Turkiewicz, Blake Carstensen, & Brady Anderson.

Honorable Mention all conference academic was Tyler Wittmann, Quinton Wallenfang, Tasha Carstensen, Dakota Tomek, Keagan Jach, & Jacob Pieffle.


Selections are based on number of varsity wins, conference placing and second quarter GPA.  Congratulations to all of the Hatchet wrestling team receiving this honor.


Congratulations to the Northern Edge High School Figure Skating team on their performance this weekend at Nationals.   The team finished with 6 gold medals and 6 silver medals in their individual events with a 4th place combined score overall.  Tomahawk skaters Karli Cecil earned a gold medal in moves to music and a 4th place in freeskate, Morgan Webster received a silver medal in freeskate, and Kiana Webie received a 4th place in freeskate.  In the team events, Northern Edge placed 5th for Level B and 9th for Level C.

SENIORS:  If you didn't pick up your cap/gown/tassel yet or need to buy any, please see Mrs. Zernach in Guidance.  Also, announcements are in.


American Red Cross will be having the High School Scholarship Blood Drive on Tuesday, April 21st in the HS gym.  Please sign-up in the HS office to donate.  Students will need a photo ID with their date of birth in order to make a donation. There is a sign-up for Varsity Club and NHS members to work the event.


Marine recruiter will be here during lunch on April 22nd.



Tomahawk High School graduation is Saturday, May 30th at 1:00 in the fieldhouse.  No tickets required, no reserved seating.

We have a new local scholarship offered to the Class of 2015. Northwoods Community Realty is offering 4 scholarships. Please use our scholarship application and essay that you used for the previous local scholarships. The name of the scholarship should be titled on your application as Northwoods Community Realty Scholarship. Please make sure you have your application, essay and transcript collated, name your file with your last name, first name and scholarship name. Then put in the drop box.



We have a new scholarship, The American Legion Department of Wisconsin Americanism and Government Scholarship Program. It's a test, a compettion, a scholarship opportunity and it's online.  The test is available online during the 1st two weeks in April. Students in 10th, 11th and 12th grade may take the test.
