PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
The “Contender” board has been updated for the month of Feburary. A new team has taken the lead in the standings. Check to see how your team is doing and don’t forget to sign in when you lift. The “Gainer of the Month” award goes to Danielle Kurth for her hard work in the weight room. Congratulations Danielle, you earned it.
Reminder to all NHS members- there will be an NHS meeting at 7:35am on Thursday, March 6th in RM 241. The executive board will meet at 7:20am.
Tuesday, 3/3 and Wednesday, 3/4 - for the entire morning, the freshman hallway (from the Math rooms through the Tech. Ed. classrooms) will be unavailable for student use. Therefore, freshman, you will not be able to go to your lockers after the 8:10 morning bell until after your 5th hour class at 1:06. Because of this, you will be able to carry a backpack.
There will not be open gym for softball on Wednesday morning this week.
The Tomahawk Schools Drama Department will perform the musical "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown" at 7 pm on Friday and Saturday, March 6th and 7th and at 2 pm on Sunday March 8th in the Tomahawk Schools Auditorium. Tickets are available at the door, $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. ?
1st Semester Art students please pick up your projects in Ms. Piller's room BEFORE or AFTER school. After next week Thursday, they will be discarded.
There will be a trap meeting on March 4th at 6:00 PM at Sara Park. One parent needs to attend with the athlete.
Track and Field athletes are to have their athletic fee turned into coach Z before next Friday as well as any paperwork. Athletes may start picking up their sweat bottoms on Monday, March 2 from Z.
All veteran, senior Track athletes who want to meet and discuss the upcoming season are encouraged to meet with Coach Z in room 228 after school on Tuesday.
There will be an open gym for Track High Jumpers Wednesday morning from 6:30-7:30. Any one who has High Jumped before or has an interest in High Jumping this track season are welcome to attend. Any question please email or talk to Coach Zimmerman in room 348.
Attention Baseball players, there will be open gym on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:00 AM in the MP room.
Seniors can now go to www.parchment.com to get their updated GPA and Rank. You can also download a transcript in a PDF file for your local scholarships. Questions, call Guidance.
March 2nd, from 3:00-7:00 PM, we will have an opportunity for seniors to complete their financial aid form from a financial aid expert. Stop in Guidance to sign up for a time and get a handout of what you need to bring.
Juniors and Seniors - check your Hatchet email account for information to register on Parchment, the new transcript program. Also keep in mind that your first 4 transcript requests are free, thereafter, you will be charged $5.00 per request.
