JV football team played last ngiht, lost 42-16. Good performances by Nick Wisemen at QB throwing and running and Jacob Ruid with a TD catch.

Tomahawk Hatchet Bank is celebrating their 5th Anniversary this week with fun activities. Today's fun activity is a trivia question. The teacher who emails Mrs. Dachel the fastest will win cookies for their 1st hour class. Today's question is how long do 5 dollar bills last on average?

All week there is a money jar guessing activity on the FBLA and Tomahawk Community Bank Facebook pages. Comment your guesses online and whoever is the closest without going over will win all of the money! Guessing ends on Friday.

Attention NHS members:  there will be a meeting this Thursday morning at 7:45 in Rm 241.  The executive board meeting will be at 7:30.

If you need a quiet place to work or some extra help on an assignment Study Buddies will be starting this week.  It will run from 3:45-5:00 Monday thru Thursday in Rm 284 (the AT Lab).

 Varsity Club and WJJQ are proud to sponsor the Hatchet Superfan of the week.  Every week we will be picking a new superfan from those students in attendance at our athletic events over the week.  Each winner that is selected will receive a $10 chamber bucks gift certificate, bragging rights for a week as the "superfan", their picture on the bulletin board outside Mr. Meyer's room, presentation of the superfan "cape", and some air time on WJJQ during Hatchet sports broadcasts.  Show your Hatchet pride, some creativity, and sportsmanship to be selected.  The first winner of the Hatchet Superfan award is Hunter Langdon.  Hunter, please report down to the office after announcements to start your reign as the Superfan.

If you are interested in being a mentor to an elementary student during the day or would like to learn more about the Friends Program, please pick up an application in the high school office.

YA/STW students must have their schedules turned in to 1) the office, 2) Haiku, 3) your RH teacher, 4) 7th hour SH teacher today for this week or you will not be released.

Attention all athletes: Morning lifting is now open to anyone that would like to further their athletic abilities.  We will be lifting Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week.  Lifting promptly starts at 6:15 and we will be done by 7:30.  As always it is free to any THS student.

Thre will be no school October 26th, teacher in-service day.




These tests will be available in the THS. Students sign up in the THS Guidance with payment.

ACCUPLACER - Juniors/Seniors. Pretest is OCt. 22nd, test is Oct. 29th.  Sign-up in Guidance.

PSAT - Requirement for National Merit Scholarship Program, practice for SAT.  October 15th 8:30-11:30 AM  in the Guidance Office.  $15.00 fee, test is voluntary.

ASVAB - Aptitude/skills test, career matching, admission to military.  October 23rd, 8:15 - 11:15 AM in the HS LMC.  Test is free and voluntary.

Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship applicaitons are available in the Guidance Office, please review GPA criteria before applying.  Must be turned into Guidance by October 23rd.  See Guidance for more information.  The winner(s) will be announced within 2 weeks of the deadline.  Each winner will be personally notified by email.
