PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

 

The results for the Prom Court nominations are in.  Congratulations to Sierra Schulz, Lauren Bembinster, Sara Koube, Quinton Wallenfang, William Hurlburt and Blake Carstensen.

 

On Tuesday March 31st we will be starting a phone server operating system upgrade in the afternoon.  This upgrade will not be complete until sometime April 2nd.  No phones will be operational in the School during this time. 

 

We have a new scholarship, The American Legion Department of Wisconsin Americanism and Government Scholarship Program. It's a test, a competion, a scholarship opportunity and it's online.  The test is available online during the 1st two weeks in April. Students in 10th, 11th and 12th grade may take the test. If you have questions, email to info@wilegion.org or call (608)745-1090.   You can also stop in guidance also for more information.

 

We have a new local scholarship offered to the Class of 2015. Northwoods Community Realty is offering 4 scholarships. Please use our scholarship application and essay that you used for the previous local scholarships. The name of the scholarship should be titled on your application as Northwoods Community Realty Scholarship. Please make sure you have your application, essay and transcript collated, name your file with your last name, first name and scholarship name. Then put in the drop box.

 

Any current NHS members, turn in your $5.00 for induction to Kyle Theiler or Mrs. Johnson by this Friday.

 

Prom tickets are on sale during lunch, $40.00 for a couple or $20.00 for an individual.  If your class dues have not been paid, you will need to pay them before you can purchase a ticket.  If yu are taking a student from another school district, pick up a permission slip in the HS office.  Forms are due by April 7th.  Sign up forms for decorations, tear down and food donations are in the HS office.

 

Prom will be held Saturday, April 11 in the HS Gym.  Dance begins at 7:30 PM, doors open to the community at 9:00 PM with the Grand March commencing at 9:30 PM.

 

Any students participating in agility camp this summer are eligible for an individual basketball skills camp.  The camp will run Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9:30-10:30.  If interested, please stop by Mr. Baalke's room #293 for registration information.

 

 

 

Boys interested in joining Babe Ruth baseball this year, registration forms are in the H.S. office, due by March 27th.

 

Students - Please drive safely on school property and in the community.  The Speed Limit on school grounds is 15 mph and all traffic signs must be obeyed.  Watch for pedestrians in the parking lots and on city streets as spring arrives.

 

Tomahawk High School graduation is Saturday, May 30th at 1:00 in the fieldhouse.  No tickets required, no reserved seating.

Juniors and Seniors - check your Hatchet email account for information to register on Parchment, the new transcript program. Also keep in mind that your first 4 transcript requests are free, thereafter, you will be charged $5.00 per request.
