COVID-19 State wide School Closure

Tomahawk Schools will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 School Year due to the Statewide School shutdown. All school activities, practices, and community use of facilities are canceled until schools are allowed to reopen. Updates and information regarding COVID-19 can be found here.

On Tuesday, April 2, 2019, there will be a general spring election for three seats on the School District of Tomahawk Board of Education. These seats are currently held by:

Incumbent Dick Huseby and Jeffrey Johnson, representing the city of Tomahawk
Incumbent Cherie Krueger, representing the Townships of Nokomis, Wilson and Little Rice

If a primary election is necessary, the primary election will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.

Persons wishing to run for the Board of Education positions that are available in April 2017 must submit all necessary paperwork no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
